Container storage facility
Hartmann’s container storage facility has an overall capacity of 150 twenty-foot ISO containers, each with a 30 m³ volume.
This is more space than is needed for the contents of a larger residential unit. In many cases a fraction of the volume is enough. This is why Hartmann offers you the option of renting not only one or more complete containers but also partial volumes within a single container. This way you never rent more space than you actually need, with the added benefit of reducing the rental price. The container rental is billed once a month.
Each container is secured against break-in as is the storage facility housing the container. As a matter of principle, access is only granted under supervision. This way Hartmann ensures that your furniture is properly protected. As an additional security measure, the storage facility is monitored around the clock by video cameras. The containers are dry and the container storage facility is heated. So, when you move, you can also store files and other items that are moisture-sensitive.
The 24/7 storage facility
Alternatively, and in addition to the container storage facility, you can also use our 24/7 self-storage facility to stow your furniture when you move. This gives you access to your property around the clock, seven days a week. The storage facility is conveniently located and easy to reach via the A33 and B64 highways.
The building was only built in 2017 and is secured by state-of-the-art security technology. The premises can only be accessed by employees and our customers by means of an access chip. The storage boxes themselves are secured by cylinder locks. In addition, video cameras monitor the premises and the buildings.
Storage boxes in the 24/7 storage facility
You have a choice of storages boxes in five sizes XS, S, M, L and XL. There is also the option of renting a garage. Here are the capacities of the five sizes, expressed in removal boxes.
Storage box XS: 1 m³ volume (same as six removal boxes)
Storage box S: 3 m³ to 9 m³ volume (same as 20 to 60 removal boxes)
Storage box M: 12 m³ to 24 m³ volume (same as 75 to 150 packing cases)
Storage box L: 30 m³ to 42 m³ volume (same as 190 to 266 packing cases)
Storage box XL: 48 m³ to 60 m³ volume (same as 300 to 375 packing cases)
The minimum rental period for a box or garage is one month. You can extend the rental period as required at any time. The notice period is 14 days to the end of the month. The longer you store your furniture or other property, the cheaper the price per month. From a rental period of 3, 6 and 12 months you will receive a discount of 3, 6 and 12% respectively.
